Env (ADSR)

Provides an envelope shape for pitched sources through a dedicated auxiliary connection.

Detailed explanation
Provides an envelope shape for pitched sources through a dedicated auxiliary connection.

The envelope node is used to control how a sound opens and closes over time. Route it into the green ENV input of Oscillator or FM Mod to shape attack transients, sustained bodies, and release tails.

To use it, connect the Env output to a generator's ENV input, then adjust Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release while playing notes through that generator.

Because it is a node in the graph, it becomes easy to keep amplitude behavior explicit and reusable across workflows.

What to know
  • Connects to dedicated envelope auxiliary inputs on pitched sources.
  • Exposes the classic ADSR curve as four direct controls.
  • Also supports LFO target input for animated envelope parameters.
Key controls

Attack

How quickly the note rises from silence to its peak.

Decay / Sustain

How the note settles after the attack and how loud the hold stage remains.

Release

How long the sound fades after the note is released.
