Oscillator
The basic pitched sound source with waveform selection and pitch transposition.
Use the Oscillator node when you want a direct, classic synth source. It reacts to note input and can be shaped by an envelope, expanded by a chord node, driven by an arpeggiator, and modulated by an LFO target input.
To use it, drag Oscillator onto the graph, connect its audio output to a processor or Output, select it for note input, then choose the waveform and pitch offsets before playing.
It is the fastest way to build leads, basses, drones, and utility tones before layering more complex processing.
- • Supports dedicated envelope and shared chord/arpeggiator auxiliary inputs.
- • Exposes an LFO modulation target input for animated pitch-related parameters.
- • Works well as a starter source in simple or layered patches.
Octave
Transpose the oscillator up or down in octave steps.
Semitone
Fine pitch shift in semitone steps for intervals and detuning.
Waveform
Choose between sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square.
