Workflow Manager

Workflows package the node graph, sequencer tracks, groups, tuning, BPM, and arrangement settings into one reusable project.

Detailed explanation
Workflows package the node graph, sequencer tracks, groups, tuning, BPM, and arrangement settings into one reusable project.

A workflow contains your patch, tracks, groups, automation, recorded notes, tuning, tempo, and arrangement length. It is the project you save, reopen, share, or export.

To create a new workflow, click Workflows in the lower toolbar and click New workflow. To save the current patch, type a name and click Save, or click Save again later to update the current workflow.

To reopen a saved workflow, click its name in the workflow list. To rename one, click its pencil button, edit the name, then press Enter or the confirm button. To delete one, click its delete button and confirm the prompt inside the Workflows sheet.

If this browser copy gets cluttered or behaves unexpectedly, open Settings in the top navigation and use Reset local data. Confirming the action clears unsaved drafts and custom sounds kept only on this browser, then reloads saved account workflows when you are signed in.

Settings also includes Cleanup for unused local audio samples, Clear history for the local undo path, and Clear all local data when you want this browser to forget its AudioFlow drafts, samples, mappings, and device choices.

Use the undo and redo buttons, or press Cmd/Ctrl+Z and Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+Z, to move backward and forward through recent edits while you work in the graph, sequencer, note editor, or automation editor. Undo and redo can also retrace recent workflow switches, with each workflow keeping its own recent edit path.

Saving named workflows is the cleanest way to keep multiple ideas organized. The manager also helps with import, export, rename, and delete flows.

What to know
  • Workflow content includes both the graph and the sequencer arrangement.
  • Saved entries can be reopened without rebuilding the patch manually.
  • Undo and redo can return to recent workflow choices as well as patch edits.
  • Reset local data is for browser cleanup; export or save drafts first.
  • Clear all local data removes browser-only AudioFlow material without reopening account workflows.
  • Import/export keeps collaboration and backups simple.
