Control

A macro slider that moves several connected parameters through safe ranges.

Detailed explanation
A macro slider that moves several connected parameters through safe ranges.

The Control node gives one manual slider for several parameters in the patch. Connect it to modulation target inputs, add the parameters you want to steer, then set a safe range for each one.

Each target range uses two handles so you can define the lowest and highest value without taking much space. Turn Invert on when a parameter should move down while the main Control slider moves up.

Turn a range Off when you want to leave the connection and range in place but stop that parameter from following the macro. The main Control slider is available in MIDI Learn, so a hardware knob or fader can move the whole set.

You can also connect an LFO to the Control node's modulation input when you want the macro slider to move on its own.

What to know
  • One slider can perform several parameter moves at once.
  • Every target keeps its own safe min/max range.
  • Invert supports opposite movements inside the same macro gesture.
  • MIDI Learn can bind hardware control to the main macro slider.
